Youth Savings

Youth Savings

It's never too early to teach your child healthy savings habits.

Overview

Teaching your kids about maintaining healthy finances isn’t always a simple task. There are even adults who can’t get it right! Start them off young with a Youth Savings Cash Club Account. It’s designed for children ages 0-11, so you can be a joint account holder while teaching them how to save. It’s a win win!

Features -

  • Dividends Paid Monthly - Motivate your kids to save even more with monthly paid dividends to help them grow their savings.
  • Withdraw Anytime - With no savings terms, your kid's money isn't locked-in. They can withdraw (with a parent/guardian) money at any time for plenty of flexibility.
  • Monthly Rewards - Every time your child deposits $20 or more, they'll receive a prize, once per month.
  • Annual Savings Challenge - Make a $20 deposit during Youth Savings Month (April) and get entered to win prizes.
  • Animal Shelter Donations - Show your kids how charity can help to make the world a better place. We'll donate $5 to support local animal shelters with every Cash Club Account opened.
  • Federally Insured - No matter what, your child's money is safe. All Cash Club Accounts are federally insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA.
  • Money Builder Certificate - Teach your child different methods of saving. With just $200, you can open a Money Builder Certificate for your kid (18yo and younger) and start saving even more.

Make sure to give your kids every advantage. Click here to open a Youth Account and encourage them to save and learn about money.

Annual Coloring Contest

Your child can enter a coloring contest each year to possibly win cash prizes for their artistic abilities.

Good Grades

Earn up to $5 per year for achieving good grades in school. Have your child bring their final report card to any UBI office at the end of each school year, and we’ll deposit $1 for every “A” (maximum of $5) into their account.
